ACLS Skills Session

The ACLS skills session is a live examination component of the Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification. During the skills session examination, an ACLS-certified examiner will lead the student through many mega codes, or potentially fatal cardiopulmonary events. During each mega code, the student will be asked to exhibit a thorough grasp of ACLS concepts and mechanics. Megacodes will typically include guidelines for performing CPR, managing an advanced airway, and identifying and treating common cardiac arrhythmias.
